Hello,
As you guys have noticed today server is again down, this time same reason of nullrouting the ip, but this time burst.net acted in an unprofessional manner not notifying us or our provider volumedrive that they had done that, resulting in almost entire day now of downtime. We are working to get this issue resolved, and hoping to move to new location within a week’s time, either will stick with current provider (they are opening new facility in NY) or just get a new provider itself, so we do not have to worry about Burst.net and its unprofessionalism.
Sorry for the issue, but sorries don’t really cut it all the time, if only i had any control over how Burst.net should be run this would not be happening at all. Still awaiting reasons as to why null routing took place in the first place.
Change is inevitable ! Unless they can reimburse us or can provide a professional explanation !!

Hiya,
Yesterday we got an email from abuse department saying phishing (or as i say fishing) activities were taking place from one the domain hosted. Replied within few minutes of getting the email, providing the datacenter with culprits ip, and asked for steps to take to resolve the issue. And thanks to no reply for over close to 18 hrs, cognent null routed our server ip. Hence you might not be able to access your sites right now. Had only our provider acted swiftly to an abuse report this could have been prevented.
We are looking to get new ip assigned to server asap, and making sure the original ip is cleared given back to the server. New ip is currently assigned to ns2.proxyorama.info , so your sites should work normally after its assigned.
Note: These are the consequences/results/conditions beyond our control as we cannot monitor how your proxy sites get used.
We will be back shortly (hoping it wont take ages to assign new ip to the server)

Tired of running a proxy site with visitors from asia, china and countries that leech on your bandwidth and in return produce no revenues from same proxy websites. Well you can deny ips from those users which keep coming back without producing any clicks or revenues from your google ads or other ads, by using .htaccess file provided below. The file is used on one of my proxy site : enjoylearning as it was a heavy hitter with no to very low revenues, all those vistors with no returns only end up killing your bandwidth and getting suspended.
Feel free to download and place it in your public_html folder, where your proxy main index file is located. Ips listed there are in and around from ASIAN continent.
Unzip and upload the .htaccess file. DOWNLOAD FILE : Htaccess (20 bytes, 309 hits) You need to be a registered user to download this file.

Hello everyone,
To avoid any more spam emails going out of server and getting ip blocked by spamcop and blacklisted, we have disabled email services like exim, pop3 , smtp , and also via php disabled the mail() functions.
So if you have any contact forms or any domain email on the account please do not use them or give them out, as they will not work. Sorry that this has to be done, but we you are on a proxy host and should not require emails on a proxy sites. For abuse emails put your email from other domain or one of your other yahoo or other free services email in the footers of your sites if you wish. But we will not be offerring or entertaining sites that require email services for their proxies.
Thanks

Hiyall,
Seems like server is acting really weird we think it might be HDD data corruption or kernel issues, you might not be able to login to you Direct Admin panel, but your sites should be working. We will update on this as to what or where the issues are, looks like we might be needed an OS reload. If that be the case we will probably perform the same if needed urgently else will wait till weekend so your sites have minimum downtimes.
We might not even need anything other than just recompile of kernel but we will update you as and when things develop.
FAQ :
Should i panic ?
R. Nope its not the end of the world !
Cheers

Our provider is moving all their servers to newer location, and just got confirmation that they will be moving our server to new location today itself, so downtime if any will be due to the move that is taking place.
Sorry for the inconvenience that this might cause you all and a late announcement.
Status: Currently Server/Site Offline possibly the move is taking place right now.

Hiya all,
Yes it does look scary that power supply failed on the new machine with only few days of operations, the datacenter is replacing the same, and server should be back up soon.
Will keep a close eye on future hardware issue, if it becomes a trend we will be moving away to better location and choosing different provider.
Cheers

Hello,
Sorry for the downtime, but we are not sure what happened, was it the not so expert in server management, company that we got services from or if it was our new provider itself.
We are waiting for the datacenter to reboot the server. When its back online we cannot say at this time, hopefully the datacenter will reboot it quickly, cause right now we are at their mercy to reboot the server.
Sorry once again.

Proxy Host would like to let its proxy hosting users know, that we have upgraded our server to:
Amd X2 5000+ (2.6GHZ)
4 Gigs Ram
100mbps uplink
Direct Admin (remains same , bummer huh !! )
64 Bit OS
DNS on our end has migrated , for some , they might still be connecting to old server but after 48 hrs everyone will be using the new proxy server.
Do let u know if you find something wrong with your account setup or anything else.

PHP Proxy had received a ticket or 2 about slow loading of few Proxy Sites, to fix that we have decided to upgrade to AMD X2 5000+ with 4 Gig rams (over 2 gigs), this week. Hopefully that will boost the performance of the server.
Also note that we might disable mysql server all together as we do not see any user utilizing the same (not finalized). If you wish to put in your inputs feel free to write your testimonials.
Regards
